Finally spent quality time messing around with Unreal Engine and Megascan Libary. My ultimate goal with this project was to create the whole setup which includes - Landscape material with megascan textures, setup displacement, clutter per material. The forest is procedurally generated using again megascan trees. Boulders, fallen trees, are also spread procedurally. I'm using this system for the first time and really enjoy the time spent. For some of the textures use the Quxel mixer to make them blend better. Also, set the runtime virtual textures to blend the megascan assets better. For the lighting, I was looking for some more dramatic scenes and from the very beginning, i knew that want god rays with volumetric fog. I will continue to develop the forest. My next steps are to include water streams. I hope you like the result!
